Hic is a 3D animated short, which uses the metaphor of a fish out of water to illustrate the adverse effects of water wastage. The project is part of a wider campaign effort to educate 18-24 year olds of the importance of water conservation. The video is targeted primarily at the "Youtube generation", who are characteristically believed to be proponents of video sharing. Hic has a strong entertainment appeal, but subliminally educates the user on the need to be more cautious about the use of water. The title is derived from the word "hiccup", which is a condition known to be remedied by drinking water.
